Gluten Free Recipes (gfcooking.food) is a recipe website. We respect your privacy. We do not sell your data, we do not have user accounts, and we do not collect your email address. This policy explains the limited data we do collect and why.

What data we collect

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data. This includes:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• How you arrived at the site (e.g. search engine, direct link)
• Device type (desktop, tablet, or mobile) and operating system
• General country (derived from your IP address; the full IP address is not stored)
• Browser type and language setting

We do not collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your precise location
• Any information that identifies you personally

Why we collect it

We use anonymous analytics to understand which recipes are most helpful, how visitors navigate the site, and where we can improve. This helps us create better content for people cooking gluten-free meals.

Data retention

Google Analytics retains anonymised usage data for 14 months by default. After that period it is automatically deleted. We do not store any additional data on our own servers about individual visitors.

No selling of data

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third party for marketing purposes. The only third party that receives any data is Google, via Google Analytics, solely for the purpose of providing us with anonymised statistics about site usage.

This site uses the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare Pages — website hosting and content delivery. Cloudflare may log basic connection metadata (IP addresses) for security purposes. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California). Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is very little data about you to access or delete. However, if you have any concern:

• You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
• You can decline cookies using the banner shown on your first visit, or through your browser settings.
• You can contact us at hello@gfcooking.food with any privacy request and we will respond within 30 days.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
